Genius Ways To Prioritise And Organise Your Life
Prioritising and organising your life is key to achieving your goals and maintaining a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
Start by setting clear goals and defining your priorities. The thing is, you need to understand what truly matters to you and allocate your time and energy accordingly.
Then, develop a system for managing your tasks and responsibilities. If you are consistent you will experience and witness the many benefits of being organised.
Here are some easy ways to help you effectively prioritise and organise your life.
1. Get Up Earlier
I know you have heard it said so many times, but having a morning routine can be quite beneficial.
Force yourself to get up a bit earlier because getting up earlier can really change your life.
If you are up earlier, you can get an early start and get at least one or two things done before it’s time to get ready for work or school or whatever it is that you do.
You could even sneak in prayer, meditation, pack your lunch or fit in your daily workout.
When you get an earlier start to your day, it’s amazing the number of things you can get done especially if you know that your day is chock-a-block.
It makes things so much easier and it sets the tone for the rest of your day. You will be in a better mood and be way more productive.
A lot of us struggle with getting up earlier and you can crush that by putting your alarm clock out of your reach.
That makes it impossible for you to hit the snooze button and after all that persistent noise from the alarm, even in a groggy haze, you will be forced to get up.
It might be difficult at first but once your body gets in the routine of waking up earlier it becomes so much easier, I promise.
Set your alarm earlier than you normally would. Half an hour earlier would be a good place to start. Then gradually increase your time as your body gets accustomed to the routine.
2. Meal Prep
There are so many benefits of prepping your own meals. When you prep your own meals you will be rewarded in multiple ways.
Weight loss is a major benefit and you will also be healthier because you will reduce the amount of junk you eat.

You can make a grocery list. Buy your groceries and prep your meals once or twice per week depending on your preference.
Once you start doing this, you will realise that it’s a life-changing win-win situation.
You will see the savings in your wallet and the best part is that you will see a change in your body and your overall health and well-being.
You will also save so much time which you can spend with your friends and family or use that time to de-stress. It could be a spa day or focus on your hobby ( you get the idea).
3. Reading
Reading is everything! It makes a world of difference in the way you speak and
You can read a chapter a day or every other day and don’t forget that audiobooks are an option.
You can read anywhere; in your lunch hour, on the bus or train ride to or from work. It’s a good overall exercise for the brain and a good habit to cultivate.
4. Budgeting
Budgeting is a great habit to get into and is an important aspect of financial self care. A budget lets you know what you can and cannot afford.
Especially if your resources are limited, budgeting makes it easier to make ends meet. It will save you the trouble of overspending and gives you control over your money.
Whatever your income is, be sure to budget your weekly, bi-weekly or monthly finances and prioritize your needs eg rent, insurance, bills, savings and food.
Whatever funds you have remaining, you can use to treat yourself to that pair of shoes you’ve been wanting. Maybe going to the movies or even dining out is also on your agenda.
If there is excess after you have treated yourself you can put that towards your regular savings or a secondary savings such as vacation.

If you take the stairs instead of the lift at work, it can be very effective in your attempt towards starting a workout plan.
Taking up a gym membership is a good idea but if you are not going to use it, then that defeats the whole purpose.
So, you either make the decision to use your gym membership or if you are disciplined, doing exercises in the comfort of your home is a viable option. There are tons of exercise programs available online for your every need.

But these are all great tips to get organized. My favorite way to stay organized is making lists. I use them for everything and it helps so much. Thanks for sharing this!

Nice ways to organize life.
Hey Zahida,
It helps to keep stress at bay when you’re organized.
Thank you for insightful methods to maintain a drama-free and a healthy lifestyle. I was just telling someone that we learned to budget so that we could travel and leave the drama behind. When we started to budget, we could travel, know that the bills were paid and have an idea of what we could afford to spend on the trip. Before that, trips were more stressful than staying home, because the phone was constantly ringing with collections calls and we were afraid to spend ANYTHING on the trip. Thanks for reminding me how far we’ve come.
Hi Vox,
Indeed, having a drama-free and healthy lifestyle changes everything!
Getting up early makes such a difference! I started waking up way earlier than the rest of the house (and, honestly, earlier than most sane people, ha) several years ago. It was definitely game changing. Thank you so much for sharing these tips. Have a wonderful day.
