Self care is simply the time you mindfully set aside to relish and bask in activities that take care of you, to protect and nurture your mind, body, and soul.
This is any action that you intentionally carry out with the aim of taking care of your physical, mental, and emotional health. It’s centered around setting up yourself to strengthen your inner substance so that it never gets worn out or emptied.
You simply need to find out what meets your specific needs in the different aspects of your life. It’s then necessary to ensure that you’re intentional and consistent in applying them in your life on a daily basis. This will make a significant impact.
Showing yourself some love, in essence, is when you take care of yourself in the same way that you’d look after a family member or a friend. Be kind to yourself and call for help when it’s necessary. There’s no shame in asking for help.
When you get into the habit of deliberately starting to indulge in activities to support and look after yourself, you’re paving the way to refresh, renew and refuel yourself.
Don’t get it twisted, self care is not about being selfish. Regardless of what anyone may say, caring for yourself is a form of self-love.
And, When you’re in good health, and of sound body and mind you can be effective at work. You can be attentive, thoughtful and compassionate towards others. And, you’ll be able to perform and achieve what you like to and have to do daily.

It’s an essential factor to a good relationship with yourself as well as others. If you don’t take care of yourself you won’t be able to support yourself or the people you love.
Looking after yourself will put your mind and body in a good place. You’ll be as healthy as you can be, you’ll be able to effectively perform on your job and be able to carry out your day-to-day tasks competently.
You’ll also be there for your loved ones when they need you instead of being a frazzled, frustrated mess.
